Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice that's also known as "yogic sleep" or "effortless relaxation". It's a systematic process that leads to a relaxed state between being awake and asleep. This practice allows you to become aware of and engage with your deeper, more subtle layers of consciousness.
 Here are some aspects of yoga Nidra:  Â
Sankalpa: A heartfelt intention or mantra that's expressed as a short phrase or sentence. For example, "I am strong" or "I am present".Â
Body scan:Â A focus on different body parts to release tension.Â
Breath awareness:Â A focus on the natural breathing process without trying to change it.Â
Visualization:Â A focus on calming images, such as a forest, the sea, or a garden.Â
Transition:Â A gentle movement of the body to transition back to normal awareness.Â

Yoga Nidra can help reduce stress, anxiety, and insomnia while also improving emotional and cognitive regulation and function. Some say it can also lead to self-discovery and spiritual awakening.
Join Caitlin Pace as she teaches you about and guides you through Yoga Nidra. Each week will represent a different element - Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space - where you will plant affirmations, quiet the mind, and prioritize time for yourselves.
