Dawn Sarabura, Director

Dawn's goal, as a teacher or personal trainer, is to create experiences that enhance your health and well-being. Dawn has been involved in dance and fitness since she was 3. She taught Jane Fonda aerobics for fun while getting her B.A. in English at Wellesley College. After graduation, Dawn was married and began traveling. She was certified as an aerobics instructor in 1990, and as a personal trainer in 1991. Dawn dabbled in international relations at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland (ok, she was a secretary) and held several jobs in advertising and publishing in Santa Fe and Boston, all while teaching fitness part-time. When their first son, Stefan was born in 1996, she decided to make fitness her career.
Dawn started taking Yoga classes in Boston, Mass. in 1995. Her interest in Yoga grew of out of her great enjoyment of meditation, and from recognizing how much traditional fitness had borrowed and adapted from Yoga. From there she began taking classes and reading extensively, eventually attending teacher training at Downward Dog Studio in Toronto. She is grateful every day for the opportunity to share her passions--yoga and fitness--with so many wonderful people.

Luisa Caruso CYT B.A., Instructor

Luisa is a young, lovely, intelligent, and gentle spirited yoga teacher. She is a graduate of Prana College of Yoga in Vancouver, British Columbia. Her classes are a combination of classical Hatha yoga with the flow of Ashtanga. Luisa brings slow movement with deep stretch and sense of healing, nurturing and relaxation to her classes. Leaving her classes you will feel unrushed and peaceful. Luisa believes that yoga should be accessible to everyone and that it is one of the best practices for finding stillness and balance in a hectic world. "You bring to your mat what you bring to your life. Yoga is about meditation and stillness. My job is to guide my students through their practice, their bodies are their teachers." Luisa has recently completed studies in Philosophy at Brock University where she first fell in love with Yoga after trying to find balance and bliss in her own life.

Stayed tuned for bios of all our new teachers! I can't say enough good things about these men and women and I am SO EXCITED to be working with them!
